Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CPA Articling Student, located in Abbotsford BC. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with tax preparation, and supporting clients with their accounting needs. The candidate will work under the supervision of senior team members, gain hands-on experience in public accounting, and engage with financial reporting and compliance tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for developing the CPA designation within a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and preparation of compilation engagements and review engagements.
  • Prepare individual, corporate and trust tax returns
  • Participate in professional development and training activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance (or final‐year student).
  • Eligible to enroll in the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia CPA Professional Education Program (PEP), and actively seeking articling experience.
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical and communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a small team.
