Human Resources Assistant
Entry-Level - 6-Month Contract to Hire
Location: West Montreal
DART Aerospace designs and manufactures mission-critical equipment for the global helicopter industry. With operations in over 120 countries, we support civil and military operators with innovative, certified solutions.

About the Role
DART Aerospace is looking for a high-potential early-career HR professional to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant.
This role is designed for a final-year student or recent graduate who wants to build a strong foundation across HR operations, recruitment, and payroll within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on, high-exposure role with direct involvement in day-to-day HR operations supporting multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and documentation with high accuracy
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes (contracts, documentation, coordination)
- Assist in drafting HR documents (offer letters, policies, employee communications)
- Support payroll preparation (data collection, validation, time tracking)
- Assist with time & attendance monitoring and reporting
- Support compliance processes (e.g., workersβ compensation, audits)
Recruitment Support (Core Focus)
- Post job openings across platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, schools)
- Screen resumes and coordinate interviews
- Communicate with candidates and ensure a strong candidate experience
- Support reference checks and offer preparation
- Track requisitions and maintain recruitment pipelines
HR Projects & Support
- Respond to employee inquiries and escalate when needed
- Support HR initiatives, audits, and internal projects
- Assist in organizing internal events and engagement activities
What We Are Looking For
- Recent graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong interest in recruitment and HR operations
- Previous internship / co-op in HR (asset, not required)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to learn quickly and take ownership
