About Keystone:
Keystone Child, Youth & Family Services is a dynamic, not-for-profit organization and the designated Lead Agency for Childrenâs Mental Health in Grey and Bruce Counties. Since 1974, we have been dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families by delivering compassionate, responsive mental health services.
At Keystone, we provide a full continuum of services, including counseling, prevention and well-being programs, short-term live-in treatment, crisis stabilization, youth justice services, and special needs programming. Our focus on coordinated access ensures that every child and youth aged 0-17 receives tailored, multi-disciplinary care to meet their unique needs.

Purpose and Scope:
Curious what HR is really like behind the scenes? This is your chance to find out.
Weâre offering an 8-week full-time (FTE) internship  where youâll roll up your sleeves and support the day-to-day work that keeps our HR operations organized, accurate, and running smoothly. From digitizing employee files to maintaining records and supporting recruitment coordination, youâll play an important role in keeping our systems and processes up to date.
Youâll gain hands-on experience working with HR data, systems, and documentation, while supporting key administrative and operational priorities. Youâll also be exposed to evolving HR practices, including process improvements and system enhancements, while working closely with a team thatâs invested in your learning and development.
By the end of the summer, youâll walk away with practical, resume-ready experience and a strong understanding of the foundational work that supports effective HR operations!
Key Accountabilities:
HR Records & File Management
- Support the organization, maintenance, and digitization of employee records and HR files
- Assist with reviewing files and data to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy
- Help maintain structured filing systems and support the organization of HR information across shared platforms
- Support the cleanup, transfer, and ongoing maintenance of HR data to ensure records are up to date and easily accessible
- Assist with the development and upkeep of tracking tools related to HR documentation and compliance requirements
- Provide general support with data entry, file maintenance, and system updates as required
Recruitment & HR Coordination Support
- Support recruitment activities including job postings, applicant tracking, and candidate communication
- Assist with interview coordination, scheduling, and documentation support
- Help maintain recruitment records and support ongoing talent pipeline activities
Learning, Development & Compliance Support
- Support the tracking and maintenance of employee training and development records
- Assist with coordination and documentation of learning and development activities
- Support general compliance tracking and related administrative processes
General HR & Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team as required
- Assist with ongoing HR projects and operational priorities
- Support document management, organization, and general office/HR coordination tasks
- Act as a flexible support resource across HR functions based on team needs and priorities
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Interest in modern HR, including technology, AI, and process improvement
- Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Word and Excel (bonus if you like spreadsheets đ)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check before starting (if applicable)
