About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to build a career in accounting and finance. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and administrative finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate accounting documentation and filing systems.
  • Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursement tracking.
  • Help prepare financial reports and management summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Perform general administrative and finance-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar ERP systems.
  • Internship or project experience in accounting or finance.
  • Pursuing or interested in pursuing CPA designation is an advantage.
