We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Montreal.

Role Overview

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business and supporting the accounting needs of our growing real estate portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The role can be full time or part time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with monthly reporting and financial statements
• Track expenses, invoices, rent payments, and vendor payments
• Support budgeting and cash flow tracking across properties
• Coordinate with external accountants and service providers as needed
• Ensure records are organized and maintained accurately

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in real estate or property management sector is essential
