Junior AI Developer

Beauceron Security Inc. is a growing cybersecurity company focused on combining machine learning, engineering, and security expertise to deliver tools that help organizations reduce real‑world cyber risk.

We're looking for a Junior AI Developer to join our product and data team. You'll work closely with our data scientists to support ML projects across their full lifecycle – from data ingestion and classification to building APIs that bring models into production. What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain APIs to connect ML model outputs to our platform
• Support data work across ingestion, classification, and reporting (e.g., classifying templates, ingesting structured datasets, contributing to PowerBI dashboards)
• Collaborate with the development team on code handoffs and integration points
• Collaborate closely with our data science team on what data they need and how to surface it
• Work within an existing multi-language codebase
• Support data and ML work as capacity allows - reading data, helping with classification, and contributing to pipeline tasks

What you bring:

• Solid Python skills
• Comfort with SQL and working with relational databases
• Some experience building or consuming REST APIs
• Ability to read and navigate existing codebases
• Familiarity with Git
• Willingness to pick up new languages as the work requires
• Genuine curiosity - you want to understand how things work

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data classification or ingestion pipelines
• Exposure to ML workflows or working alongside data scientists
• LLM API experience (e.g., Claude, OpenAI)
