Junior Buyer - Amico Accessories - Mandarin Speaking proficiency

Job Description Junior Buyer – Amico Accessories Richmond Hill, ON Amico Group of Companies is a leading manufacturer of Medical Equipment and Architectural Products with 9 manufacturing facilities employing over 800 people across North America.

We are currently seeking a Buyer to join our Purchasing team based out of Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Mandarin is a definite asset
• Must have purchasing experience and be able to read manufacturing drawings.
• Formal college or university education
• Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, performance and developing long-term relationships
• Experience in Metal fabrication, surface finishes, custom manufacturing environment is an asset
• Highly organized, creative and self-motivated
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and executing RFQs/RFPs
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet quality, cost and the delivery objectives
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and Finance to align purchasing strategies with operational needs
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Perform daily reviews of purchase requests and the inventory management system, ensuring purchase orders are issued in a timely manner
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, established purchasing processes, and quality management workflows
• Other duties as required

Salary Range: $45,000 - $48,000
