Full Description
We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join a growing manufacturing organization based in Ville Saint-Laurent, Quebec.
In this role, you will support the Sales and Operations teams by providing meaningful financial analysis that drives informed business decisions. You will play a key role in analyzing financial performance, preparing management reports, and developing tools to monitor key performance indicators and business results.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will help identify trends, evaluate profitability drivers, and provide insights that support operational improvements and strategic initiatives. Descriptions:
Support Sales and Operations Leaders across Canada, including newly acquired businesses.
Prepare and analyze customer profitability reports to provide actionable business insights.
Produce monthly, quarterly, year-end, and ad hoc financial reports and analyses.
Analyze and interpret financial results, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop detailed, flexible analyses that help stakeholders understand the key drivers of business performance.
Assist the FP&A Manager by providing timely financial analysis and responding to requests from various departments.
Partner with the Accounting team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of month-end financial results, while analyzing performance against prior year, budget, and forecast.
Maintain and enhance the Customer EVA tool to support profitability analysis and decision-making.
Participate in quarterly forecasting and the annual budgeting process.
Develop and improve financial reporting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and better meet business needs.
Contribute to cross-functional projects aligned with company-wide strategic objectives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
