Purpose Statement

The Junior Procurement Analyst supports the Supply Chain team by executing sourcing initiatives, administering supplier contracts, and providing analytical support to ensure cost-effective and compliant procurement activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support sourcing initiatives including RFx development, bid evaluation, supplier negotiations, and contract award recommendations.
  • Assist with contract lifecycle management including contract execution, renewals, amendments, and ongoing administration.
  • Track and analyze procurement spend, supplier compliance, and performance metrics (using defined KPI’s).
  • Maintain accurate procurement records including contracts, pricing agreements, and sourcing documentation.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analysis on spend, supplier performance, contract compliance, and procurement savings to support internal stakeholders and leadership decision-making.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to support procurement planning and execution.

Skills and Requirements

  • 2-5 years of industry experience; preference for procurement, supply chain, contract administration, or sourcing experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret procurement data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
