ECHO Power Equipment (Canada) , a trusted industry leader and premier supplier in Canada’s outdoor power equipment market, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a passion for purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain operations. We are hiring for the role of:

Junior Purchasing Coordinator

The Junior Purchasing Coordinator plays a hands-on role in supporting purchasing and inventory operations, ensuring accurate inventory levels, timely purchase order execution, and system integrity across all product lines. This position is responsible for inventory and purchase tracking, part number maintenance, and facilitating warehouse reconciliation. Working closely with internal teams and vendors, the role also supports issue resolution related to receiving, claims, and shipments to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Inventory analysis on product specifically parts and accessories from all product lines including core brands, associated brands and third-party suppliers.
  • Assisting various departments with issues surrounding inventory in a timely manner
  • Facilitate the reconciliation of the various warehouses.
  • Purchase analysis on all product lines with creating purchase orders/work orders daily, weekly, and monthly booking based on company’s needs and goals.
  • Maintaining the purchasing module and ERP system to reflect our demand and programs.
  • Control and maintain all aspects of part number maintenance from part number set-up, to maintaining the purchasing module information to end of life system maintenance.
  • Control and maintain vendor relationship building in regards buying a product, and submitting claims
  • System maintenance
  • Solving internal issues with receiving, claims and shipments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education in supply chain management or 1-3 years relevant experience in purchasing/inventory management
  • Experience forecasting inventory needs and planning.
  • Superior analytical and data management skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of AS400 an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Have the drive for continuous learning.
  • Self-starter who works well independently as well as part of a cross-functional team

This role is an In-Office Position located at the head office in East, London Ontario
