Department / Research Program: Advancing Person-Centered DE-Prescription Practice Through Inverse Knowledge Translation

The research project "Advancing Person-Centered DE-Prescription Practice Through Inverse Knowledge Translation" is a community-driven partnership with the Inner Compass Initiative (ICI), a global non-profit organization that seeks to build an inclusive, knowledge-producing grassroots community where members share their lived experience with mental health struggles and the mental health care system. ICI is a full collaborative partner in this research, and the project is co-developed and carried out in close collaboration with ICI co-investigators and lived-experience experts. This project aims to identify salient themes and archetypal narratives of withdrawal and tapering trajectories using data from "ICI Connect user profiles," combining descriptive and qualitative thematic analysis.

  • Participate in research team discussions on the development and revision of the coding dictionary,
  • Contribute to thematic content analysis and the identification of common themes, patterns, and archetypal narratives in withdrawal/tapering trajectories,
  • Serve as an intermediary between ICI and the AG-C lab, facilitating communication and coordination between the two partner organizations,
  • Participate in team-building meetings and data interpretation discussions,
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing data in the qualitative analysis software,
  • Engage in administrative duties related to the project,
