Role Summary
Knightlabs is seeking a dedicated Research Associate to lead research projects and support customer research needs. Reporting directly to the Director of AI Product Strategy & Insights, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless delivery of research projects for our customers. As Knightlabs evolves its capabilities from custom agency services to dominant AI SaaS solutions, you will help build departmental capacity and integrate cutting-edge AI efficiencies into our daily workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the flawless delivery of Rapid Insights, bespoke research projects, and deep-dive analytics tailored for Pharmaceutical / Life Science customers.
- Design and execute research projects with the correct methodology to effectively address client questions and problems.
- Develop marketing and educational strategies based on insights.
- Present findings and reports to clients while addressing client questions and follow-ups.
- Manage tactical, day-to-day research operations to build and scale departmental capacity.
- Ensure all insights meet the highest standards of scientific and methodological rigor.
- Work closely with the Director to establish clear performance goals and engage in continuous coaching and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative team atmosphere that embraces intellectual curiosity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Collaborating across departments and teams to drive project success and deliver high-impact client solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-Secondary/Graduate Degree in sociology, anthropology, psychology or related field
- 2-4 years’ experience in qualitative research
- 2-4 years’ experience providing research and insights in health and wellness industries.
- Experience with social listening or social analytics tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Meltwater, etc.)
- Proven experience in market research, deep-dive analytics, or medical communications.
- Knowledge of Life Sciences or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge of scientific research methods and rigorous data validation.
- Ability to translate complex clinical or pharmaceutical needs into actionable research outputs.
- A forward-thinking mindset with an interest in artificial intelligence and automation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a track record of executing complex projects flawlessly.
