Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Sales Representative role is based in Toronto, ON. The Junior Sales Representative will support the sales team by identifying prospects, maintaining customer relationships, and assisting with order processing and follow-up. Day-to-day responsibilities include making outbound calls and emails, responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and updating CRM records. The role also involves coordinating with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries, tracking sales activities, and participating in product training and market research. The Junior Sales Representative will help develop new business opportunities and support account managers in achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic sales skills, including prospecting, cold calling, and follow-up in a B2B environment.
  • Comfort working with CRM or sales tracking tools, and proficiency with standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, presentations).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in handling orders and documentation.
  • Interest in the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry; prior experience in food, retail, or distribution is an asset.
  • Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field is an advantage but not strictly required.
  • Willingness to learn, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a customer-focused mindset.
