Junior Software Developer – Support Engineer

What You'll Be Working On

• Support tooling — Build the internal tools used to diagnose and resolve issues across deployed sites
• Remote device pipeline — Develop a two-way communication system for interacting with deployed medical devices (monitors, sensors, peripherals)
• Hardware integration — Write and upgrade software that interfaces with clinical hardware, handling device communication, data, and errors
• Logging and diagnostics — Build systems to collect and read logs from live environments to help with troubleshooting

What you'll do day to day

• Reading logs and helping triage bug reports from deployed clinical sites
• Building and improving support tools based on issues that come up in the field
• Working with clinical hardware to diagnose connectivity and communication problems
• Documenting issues, fixes, and workarounds
• Collaborating with developers to escalate bugs and confirm fixes

What We're Looking For

Required

• Graduated within the last two years in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field
• Working knowledge of full-stack development — React, C#/.NET, and SQL
• Methodical approach to debugging and problem solving
• Clear written and verbal communication

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with hardware communication protocols (serial, USB, Bluetooth, HL7, or similar)
• Any exposure to medical device software, IoT, or embedded systems
• Experience with remote access or device management tools
• Interest in healthcare software
