Summary:

Carhartt WIP North America is seeking a Junior Wholesale and Marketing Assistant. This role will report directly to the Country Manager - Canada and provide day-to-day support to the Wholesale and Marketing teams by coordinating wholesale operations, showroom activities, sample management, and regional brand initiatives. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is passionate about maintaining the integrity of the Carhartt WIP brand across all customer touchpoints.

Core Responsibilities

Wholesale & Showroom Support

  • Assist with merchandising seasonal collections within the showroom.
  • Support showroom operations and ensure samples and product presentations align with brand standards.
  • Liaise with the third-party logistics (3PL) provider to monitor and communicate the status of outgoing shipments.
  • Monitor, track, and report on pick ticket status within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Support the wholesale sales team by maintaining relationships with 15+ wholesale accounts and responding to day-to-day client needs.
  • Process vendor loans, sample pulls, and showroom requests while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Brand Marketing & Activation

  • Help execute regional marketing initiatives while maintaining Carhartt WIP's brand standards across physical, digital, and social media channels.
  • Support the planning and execution of brand events, photoshoots, video productions, and local marketing activations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and support regional organic social media content.
  • Monitor customer trends, market activity, and consumer behavior to share insights with the team.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by representing and promoting Carhartt WIP within the marketplace while protecting brand integrity.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a growing and evolving business environment.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency for tracking shipments, maintaining records, and reporting.
  • Previous experience in a contemporary apparel showroom or wholesale environment.
  • Retail experience with an understanding of Carhartt WIPโ€™s brand positioning, target customer, market, competitors, and wholesale business.
  • Experience supporting wholesale sales or showroom operations.
  • Experience with visual merchandising.
  • Sales experience is an asset, but not required.

Additional Information:

  • Location : Full-time at our Toronto office. Hybrid work schedule, mandated to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Reporting Structure : Direct report to Country Manager - Canada.
  • Compensation : $50K - $65K/year.
