Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Communications Intern role based in Toronto, ON. The intern supports the marketing team in developing and executing communication materials that promote company listings, services, and brand initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include drafting social media posts, assisting with email campaigns, preparing marketing collateral, and helping coordinate promotional activities and events. The role also involves writing and editing content for internal and external communications, updating databases and media lists, and monitoring engagement metrics to support continuous improvement. The intern works closely with marketing and leadership team members, gaining hands-on experience in real estate marketing communications while contributing to daily operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications for developing and supporting integrated campaigns.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal abilities for internal and external messaging.
- Candidates should possess skills in Public Relations and Press Releases to support media outreach and brand visibility.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic content creation best practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace); design tools experience (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an asset.
