What You’ll Do
:
As a TA Co-op Student, you’ll support day-to-day recruitment operations and key initiatives:
Recruitment & Coordination
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates and hiring leaders
- Maintain accurate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Support candidate communications and monitor shared inboxes
Preboarding & New Hire Experience
- Prepare and track onboarding documents
- Assist with
e-recruitment
file organization and compliance tracking
Reference Checks
- Conduct and document reference checks
- Maintain accurate and confidential candidate records
Training & Projects
- Assist with the
coordination
of Recruitment Essentials training for hiring leaders - Prepare materials, manage attendance, and gather feedback
Events & Early Talent
- Attend career related events as required
- Support planning and execution of career fairs and recruitment events
- Engage with
candidates
and assist with post-event follow-ups
What You Bring
:
- Currently enrolled in a Human Resources or Business Administration post-secondar
y
program (preferred) - Strong interest in
talent acquisition - Ex
cellent communication and organizational skills - Detail-oriented with strong time management abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power
Point) - A positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-service mindset - ***
This role will
travel to career fairs and recruitment-related events
as required
(travel is required as part of this role)
. These events may take place on weekends/evenings.
