Job Description Administrative Assistant / Optical Sales Associate Station Tower Optometry – Sault Ste. Station Tower Optometry is seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our fabulous team as an Administrative Assistant / Optical Sales Associate.

Hours: 22.5–37.5 hours per week (depending on clinic needs and candidate availability)

Compensation: Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Welcome and greet patients with a positive attitude
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Communicate with patients in person, over the phone, and through email
  • Perform pre-testing and assist our doctors in delivering comprehensive eye care
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient visits
  • Process billing, payments, and insurance-related transactions
  • Assist patients with eyewear selections and optical sales
  • Maintain accurate patient records and support daily clinic operations
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and assist with additional duties as needed

Requirements Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, administration, or healthcare
  • Optical, optometric, or medical office experience
  • Experience with insurance billing and direct billing programs
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software
  • Optometric Assistant certification or Optician experience
