About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and curious student to help improve how we operate by identifying and implementing practical uses of artificial intelligence (AI) across our business. 

This role focuses on streamlining workflows, reducing manual work, and improving consistency across departments including Sales, Project Management, Finance, and Manufacturing. The successful candidate will work directly with internal teams to analyze processes, test tools, and implement real improvements, primarily within our ERP system, Odoo. 

Key Responsibilities

• Review and observe current workflows across departments to understand how work is completed day-to-day
• Identify repetitive or time-consuming tasks suitable for automation
• Research and test AI tools to improve efficiency
• Implement AI-assisted solutions such as:
• Email and communication drafting
• CRM and sales process enhancements
• Financial data organization and reporting support
• Project documentation and task tracking improvements
• Support improvements across business operations, including sales, finance, project management, and manufacturing, based on identified needs and opportunities
• Improve data consistency and structure across systems, including within Odoo
• Assist in setting up automations and workflow improvements within Odoo and related tools
• Create SOPs and training materials that clearly explain both the process and how AI tools are used within it
• Train team members on new tools and workflows to support adoption and long-term use
• Present findings, improvements, and recommendations to leadership

Qualifications

Required:

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary education (Business, Technology, Engineering, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Comfortable learning new tools and systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Interest in AI, automation, or business operations
• Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience working with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Odoo)
