About TradeSpace

Calgary coworking space for makers and entrepreneurs

Full Description

TradeSpace is a shared workspace and warehouse community in Calgary built for local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and makers. We provide flexible space, storage, and support to help our members grow โ€” from e-commerce sellers to trades companies to independent creators.

We're expanding our team and looking for a Community Associate to help run day-to-day operations at one of our Calgary locations.

About the Role

As a Community Associate, you are the face of the location. You keep things running smoothly, welcome members and visitors, and create an environment where people feel supported and want to show up. This is a hands-on, people-first role โ€” not a desk job.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members and conduct tours for prospective clients
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and daily operations of the space
  • Manage incoming deliveries and monitor supply inventory
  • Serve as the first point of contact for member inquiries and issues
  • Support a positive, professional community environment

What We're Looking For

  • Friendly, reliable, and proactive โ€” you follow through without being asked
  • Comfortable communicating with a wide range of people
  • Organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Access to personal transportation
  • Eligible to work in Canada (18+)

No previous experience required. We provide full paid training.

This role is a great fit for students, recent graduates, and anyone looking for their first or second job in a professional environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly wage
  • Performance-based incentives
  • Flexible part-time schedule (accommodates school and other commitments)
  • Paid training and ongoing support
  • Real responsibility from day one
  • A collaborative team at a growing Calgary company
