We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and continuous learning.
Position Overview
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will work alongside senior engineers to support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and application deployments. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build hands-on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain development, testing, and production environments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Assist with containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
- Support monitoring and logging solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment processes.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0โ2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, System Administration, or related technical roles.
- Basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Route 53.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD concepts.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of Docker containers and Kubernetes concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Ansible or other automation tools.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
