We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and continuous learning.

Position Overview

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will work alongside senior engineers to support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and application deployments. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build hands-on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain development, testing, and production environments.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Assist with containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
  • Support monitoring and logging solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 0โ€“2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, System Administration, or related technical roles.
  • Basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Route 53.
  • Familiarity with Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD concepts.
  • Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of Docker containers and Kubernetes concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with Ansible or other automation tools.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
