Program Context
Megafone Media Corp is a marketing and digital transformation company that helps organizations grow through data-driven marketing strategies, media production, and emerging AI tools. It is looking for a data-minded Junior Sales Associate who is excited about the intersection of marketing, media, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
This role supports the sales team by identifying business opportunities and demonstrating how data-driven marketing and AI-powered media strategies can help companies improve performance and reach new audiences.
This position provides exposure to real-world digital marketing campaigns, media strategy, and AI adoption. If the program expands successfully, the role may evolve into advanced sales positions within Megafone Media.
Key Responsibilities
· Research companies and industries that could benefit from Megafone’s services
· Conduct outreach through email, LinkedIn, and digital channels
· Assist in developing tailored marketing and media proposals
· Support the planning and execution of client acquisition campaigns
· Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities
· Use AI and analytics tools to support prospecting and research
· Collaborate with the project team to align outreach with campaign objectives
· Maintain organized records of prospects and outreach activities
· Attending networking events to represent Megafone and generate prospects
Preferred Background
· 1 year of experience in digital marketing, media production, marketing analytics or similar roles
· Interest in AI applications in marketing and business development
· Basic understanding of data analysis and marketing performance metrics
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
· Speak additional language. Ex: Chinese, Spanish, Korean.
Technical Skills (Nice to Have)
· Python for data exploration
· Power BI or Tableau for visualization
· Experience using marketing analytics dashboards
· Familiarity with CRM platforms
Ontario Job Creation Partnership Eligibility
The Ontario Job Creation Partnership (OJCP) provides work experience to eligible unemployed job seekers through projects that benefit the community or local economy. At the end of their participation, program participants will have recent work experience and additional skills to add to their resumes, increasing their chances of finding long-term employment. While projects funded under the program provide community benefit, the primary focus must be on the individual's work experience.
To be eligible for OJCP, individuals must:
o be a resident of Ontario, and
o complete a readiness assessment by an OJCP Employment Service Provider, and
o meet the EI Act’s definition of an “insured participant.”
o be unemployed. (Individuals are considered unemployed if they: are working less than an average of 20 hours per week, and are actively seeking full-time employment.)
o Individuals affected by long-term unemployment or in long-term receipt of social assistance may be especially suited for projects under OJCP.
