Junior Sales Representative – (Dealer & Pro Support Focus)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Sales Representative based in the Montreal region to support and service our established network of dealers, contractors, and roofing professionals throughout Quebec.
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who enjoys being on the road, building relationships, solving problems, and delivering excellent customer service. The primary focus, but not limited to: is maintaining, strengthen and growing existing accounts , providing product support, and helping customers improve their business results through stronger product knowledge and profitability training.
Some travel, including occasional overnights, evening events, and weekend trade shows may be required. This position reports to the National Sales Manager
What You'll Be Doing:
Account Service & Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with existing dealers and contractors to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Support dealers with product information, merchandising, pricing updates, and basic ordering assistance.
- Identify opportunities for incremental growth within existing accounts.
Customer Training & Business Support
- Provide on‑site and virtual training to dealers and contractors on:
- Product features and best‑practice applications
- Installation fundamentals
- How to position and sell products profitably
- How VELUX products can improve margins and overall business growth
- Equip customers with tools and knowledge to improve their sell‑through and enhance their profitability.
- Support our VIP Program by ensuring customers understand the benefits and how it supports their business performance.
Field Support & Territory Management
- Offer basic installation guidance and occasional light troubleshooting in the field.
- Conduct product demonstrations and small group training sessions with dealer and contractor teams.
- Work trade shows, home shows, and contractor events as required.
- Execute weekly route planning and maintain accurate visit logs through the CRM.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (French/English) is required.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience is an asset (sales, customer service, inside sales in the construction/roofing industry).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organizational and time‑management capabilities.
- Comfortable presenting product content and discussing basic business concepts (e.g., profitability, value selling).
- Proficient in MS Office and basic digital tools.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when supporting installations.
- Ability to occasionally lift items over 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
