Junior Software Developer (.NET)- Remote -Full Time

Junior Software Developer (.NET) – We are seeking 4 hires for this role. Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in .NET development. The target compensation range is CAD 70,000–85,000 annually.

Role Overview

We are seeking an early-career Software Developer to support the development and maintenance of internal and client-facing applications. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys hands-on coding, learning from senior engineers, and building reliable, well-structured software in a collaborative environment.

You will contribute to application development, API integration, and data processing while growing your skills in cloud-based and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications under guidance of senior engineers
• Assist in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Write clean, readable, and well-tested code following team standards
• Support data processing tasks using relational or document-based databases
• Help debug and resolve application issues in development and production environments
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
• Contribute to documentation and basic CI/CD workflows
• Learn and apply best practices for security, performance, and maintainability

Required Qualifications (Adjusted for Market Reality)

• 1–3 years of professional Python development experience
• Experience with Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI) at an application level
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON-based services
• Working knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
• Basic experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow established engineering pattern

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Docker or container-based development
• Experience supporting data pipelines or automation scripts
• Interest in DevOps, testing frameworks, or CI/CD tools
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
