Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As an Intern, Member Experience Performance Analytics, you will support the Manager, Voice of the Member (VoM) by collecting, analyzing, and automating member feedback and performance data. This role plays a key part in transforming qualitative and quantitative insights into meaningful metrics, dashboards, and automated workflows that inform decision‑making across the organization. You will help ensure the voice of our members is clearly understood, shared, and embedded into how we design and improve banking experiences, making this an ideal opportunity for a curious and analytical candidate who is passionate about data‑driven insights and member‑led design.

This is a Full-time, Temporary role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Manager, Voice of the Member. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Supporting the ongoing development of the Voice of the Member program within the Member Experience Strategy & Design team
  • Accelerating how insights are developed, shared, and applied across the business
  • Collecting, analyzing, and automating Voice of the Member data across multiple listening posts
  • Turning research and member feedback into actionable insights and meaningful metrics for stakeholders
  • Creating surveys, workflows, dashboards, and closed loop feedback systems using tools such as Qualtrics and Power BI
  • Documenting contact policies and procedures to support consistent data collection practices
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis including text analytics, regressions, correlations, time series, trend analysis, and hypothesis testing
  • Supporting thought leadership and educating the broader organization on member‑led insight best practices
  • Contributing to division strategy and objectives to help build a listening culture across the organization

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Completion or near completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytics or insights‑focused role
  • Near completion of a post‑graduate degree in Analytics, Insights, or Business
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking with the ability to translate business problems into structured analytical questions
  • Working knowledge of statistical techniques including regression, time series analysis, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing
  • Experience accessing, cleaning, and compiling complex data sources to deliver analytical solutions
  • Proficiency using Power BI or Tableau, Power Query, and Excel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex ideas in non‑technical language

  • Experience in financial institutions
  • Experience in building case studies
  • Experience in data storytelling and visualization
  • Experience in MS SQL, R/Python is considered an asset
  • Experience using Qualtrics

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a range of $27.85 per hour to $33.00 per hour. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
