Job Description Duration: 3 Months

Date: June 1 to August 28, 2026

Location: Onsite in Ottawa, Canada

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Work with the Lab System Administrators to bring up the lab subnet in the new Network Infrastructure Lab
  • Leverage Nokia’s central asset management tool for equipment inventory tracking (serial numbers, loaned equipment, repairs, etc)
  • Troubleshoot various issues with network and equipment
  • Find/implement ways to improve the lab

Key Skills And Experience

  • Currently a 2nd-year candidate for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Networking, Technologist, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, basic IP knowledge
  • Linux/Unix operating systems, installing servers, creating users, groups, and permissions
