Full Description
**Job Summary:
This is a full-time position. Responsible for promoting and selling flooring products, along with related materials to wholesale clients. Building and maintaining business to business client relationships by providing product knowledge and recommendations. Creating sales opportunities to contribute to the growth of the business. Meeting and exceeding sales targets Act as a professional representative of Avide Floors Inc. with delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Customer Service
Create sale opportunities through prospecting, networking, meetings, etc.
Prepare quotes and estimates on product.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding product availability, pricing, and order status
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Meet and exceed sales targets established by management.
Promote new products and special promotions
Product Knowledge
Maintain an understanding of all products, installation methods, warranties, and other related items.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor products.
Provide accurate and technical information along with recommendations to clients.
Administrative/Warehouse Support
Assist with counting, moving, cleaning, and organizing inventory as needed.
Assist with ensuring products are up to date and being properly maintained.
Assist with ensuring client information and pricing is up to date.
Company Compliance
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality regarding client information, client pricing, and business operations.
Always represent Avide Floors Inc. professionally.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous sales, retail, or flooring industry experience is considered an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational and time management abilities.
ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid Class 5 licence or equivalent is required.
Ability to move/carry flooring, samples, and displays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
