Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Associate role is based in Laval and Montreal, QC. The Sales Associate will support territory sales activities by promoting DePuy Synthes products to healthcare professionals and assisting in the implementation of sales strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring high-quality service before, during, and after procedures. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, coordinating inventory and product availability, and collaborating with internal teams to meet sales targets and support product launches. The Sales Associate will regularly attend in-person meetings, training sessions, and events to stay current on product knowledge, clinical applications, and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, with the ability to drive territory growth and meet sales objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage surgeons, clinical staff, and internal stakeholders.
  • Solid organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities, including managing multiple accounts, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working in clinical and operating room settings, with the capacity to learn technical product details and clinical applications quickly.
  • Proficiency with common digital tools and CRM systems to document activities, track opportunities, and prepare reports.
  • Post-secondary education in business, life sciences, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or B2B sales is an asset, especially within orthopaedics or surgical environments.
  • Ability to work on-site throughout the Montreal area, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and on-call support as required.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and collaborative, with a commitment to ethical conduct and patient-centered care.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the assigned territory.
