Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Belleville, ON. In this position, the Sales Associate will identify and prospect new business opportunities, meet with local and regional clients, and present advertising solutions that align with client marketing goals. Daily tasks include preparing proposals, managing a sales pipeline, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to develop campaign ideas, coordinating with production and programming staff, and monitoring campaign performance to ensure client satisfaction. The Sales Associate will participate in community events, represent the company in a professional manner, and work toward individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated sales, account management, or customer service experience, preferably in media, advertising, or related industries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and explain solutions clearly to clients.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and platforms, such as CRM systems, email, and presentation software; familiarity with digital marketing is an asset.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and working both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of the Belleville, ON business community or willingness to learn the local market.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation for client visits and community events.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an asset but equivalent experience will be considered.
